Went from stock 275/55r20 to 275/65r20. Major difference in tire traction. Night and day difference! It took me probably three months to decide on tires none the less a brand. To many decisions.

But TODAY. .. I am leaning toward the BFG AT or the Toyo AT2 Extreme. Since the Toyo Extreme is not offered in the 275 size it makes it a little more simple.

I cant decide what would look / perform the best... the 275/65/ 20 or the 285/55/20. I realize the 275/65 is a taller tire and the 285 is wider.... I just dont know what that translates to in look / performance between the two.

I bought a AS 1.5 level kit a while back very cheap I thought about installing or selling if I change my mind. I have tried to dig up photos of F150s with Platinum wheels and 1.5 level kits and these size tires without much luck. I found photos of just the tire and no shot of the entire truck or it is a poor photos in the shadows and you really cant tell much about it.

Anyone have pics like this?

Anything smaller than a 33" looks too small on these trucks, IMHO. I put 275/60/20 Cooper ATPs on mine and even though they are 275s like the stockers they look close to an inch wider because the tread wraps around the sidewall more than the OEMs...which is something that any "true AT" will do. I'll admit though it would look better with a 305 width so I might try the 305/55/20 next time.

Thats what I want my truck to look like..

BUT... I will only have 1.5 lift in the front and nothing in the rear...

I just wonder if 275/65/20 would be too much tire for my setup... should I go with a 275/60/20 or a 285/55/20... or even a 305/55/20???

I have not seen a truck yet with stock 20" platinum wheels and just a 1.5 level up front.... and any of these sizes. Always some difference.

I wish there were more options in a 285/60/20
