Default 275/60R20 speedo ?

I'm in need of new tires and have been kicking sizes around. Right now it would appear that my speedo is fairly accurate based on phone app speedo and radar speed sign with the stock 275/55 combo. To those of you that mounted 275/60, how much did your speedo change?

Different question, anyone here running Dueler Revo 2?? Looking for white letter and the choices are slim. Also considering the Firestone Destination AT.

Thanks,
Neil

It will change it by 2.5 mph to the positive, so when running 70 mph according to speedo, your actually only 67.5. Should keep you out of trouble with radars, if your careful. Can't speak to your tire choice, I was using cooper zeon ltzs.

That's the size I run, and I don't see enough change between my trucks reading and what flashes on the sign to warrant changing anything.

Default I have 275x60x20 Toyo ATII's

I just put these tires & rims on two weeks ago. 20x9 Lonestar Six Shooter +18 Offset with 275x60x20 Toyo ATII's. NO rubbing or trimming required but I have Bilstein 5100's set @ +3/4" ring to help level it some, but allow for towing. The speedo was off by about 2-3 mph and I believe I was going faster than speedo read but honestly it was only like that for a few days before I happened to be at the dealer and they reprogrammed for me $50 when doing The Works service.
Interesting thing was the dealer said that some trucks have multiple choices in the system & some the dealer has to program in the overall diameter and they never know until they enter the programming mode. My 2011 had about 10 tire sizes options and that size was not in the list. However they did online tire calculator size for diameter and set it for 32.07 circumference by choosing the one that was equal to the 17" that come on the Raptors.

These tires are awesome: The ride is noticeably stiffer and they are louder the stock Pirellis.

Thanks for the input guys. 2-3 mph isn't too much to really worry about. Just need to pull the trigger one way or the other.

Most speedometer's read 1 to 2 mph faster then what you're going. My 275x60x20's put me right on the money according to my GPS.

I think you did it backwards... Larger diameter tire will rotate faster than the truck says. you will be going 72.5 when your truck says 70, if the difference would be 2.5mph like you say.

When I went from the stock 275/55/20 Scorps (approx 32" x 11") to the 33 x 12.5 my mph is dead on with a gps @ 80 mph. I did not compare the gps with the stockers because they were on the truck for 1 hr once I signed the paper.
