275/55 vs 275/60
 

I have tried to research this a few times and haven't been able to et a solid answer. I have the stock 20's on the truck, 275/55r20. I feel that the as indicated speed is off by a few MPH; indicated 70 MPH being more like 67ish. Would the 60 series correct that? How much of an effect does the change from 55 to 60 series have on the stock setup? Thanks!

On a side note; I like the white lettering and have been having a hell of a time finding quality replacement for the Perelli. Looking at Firestone Destination AT or Bridgestone Revo AT. Any other input??

I have a set of 275/60/20 open country at2 s on order. They are 1 inch larger in diameter than the 55's and actually a little lighter.

To answer your question yeah, they will correct your speedo. I have a set of Firestone Destination AT's (do a search you will find my post with pics). THey are a good tire. You won't be dissappointed. The truck sits a little higher, I find the destination absorb sharp bumps better. I like the ride better than the pirellies personally. I paid $920 cad installed for my 275/60/20's
