Default 22in Wheels on 2WD XLT??

I want to put 22 inch wheels on my 2010 2wd. Wheelfire.com recommends 305/40/22 tires. I want a higher sidewall(305/45/22). Will this work? Anyone got pics of a F150 with this setup? Is 22in too big?

A 305/45/22 converts to be 32.8"x12". I think that will fit with your truck without rubbing.

The wheel size won't really matter much, what's going to matter is the overall tire size.

Nice! How are they? I've been debating going with those or the Cooper Zeon LTZ.

Any opinions?

I like em. I was gonna go with the same Coopers, but I didn't want an "all terrain" tire.

This picture was taken from a crazy angle ... it doesn't have that much rake.
This is the exact size wheel and tire combo you're asking about, with a 2/2 drop.

That looks good! Excuse my ignorance but what does a 2/2 drop mean? 2 inch drop front and back? Also, just to be sure, those tires are 305/45/22 right?

Ghettofabulous!

Now you have a truck that rides terrible, you've reduced the payload and towing abilities to less than half, and it can no longer do anything offroad at all.

So if you are going to take away all the real reasons for having a truck, then why but one to start with?

Nice truck I wanted the same size tires but on cragar ss wheels and a 2/4 our 3/5 drop. I was wondering if the 305/40/22 or 305/45/22 would rub with a +35mm offset.
