2024 F-150 limited or wrangler?

I love my 14 limited. Just passed 102,000 miles. I bought it at 72,000 miles and it has been a great truck. Had a warped exhaust manifold but the Previous Owner put a racing breathable filtered oil cap on it and would leak oil right where the exhaust manifold warped. I am 99% sure that is why it warped. Changed the oil cap and the exhaust manifold and haven't had an issue since.

Because I've only owned both Jeeps and trucks, I'd bring up another possibility. Get the truck so you can have more room and a more comfortable ride, especially on longer trips. Make the truck yours and off-road ready (small simple things). Get a very used Jeep that's already got most upgrades and bugs worked out for your off-road adventures. I bought my son-in-law a Jeep Wrangler for $5000 and it already had a good lift, 33 inch tires, and a host of upgrades. Awesome Jeep and he loves it to death. But given the choice of travel, most would choose the truck for the comfort factors. Just food for thought. Good luck either way!

It is why I have mine and why some of my friends now have theirs.

Don't look at a 15. Forget engines for a moment, that was a major change year and all sorts of stuff was difficult and breaking. Just read the 2015 forum. Never buy first gen vehicles.

OK, I can relate to off-pavement fun since I own the vehicles in my sig lines as well as 2018 Can-Am Maverick Trail 1000 DPS which I enjoy greatly and frequently. Being retired plus living in my region provides trail access without need to trailer ATV/UTV from homebase garage and return same day being street legal equipped.
So then to the OP, if you truly enjoy and use your JK/JKU, I'd really try to keep it while swinging the deal on the used F150 too. My old TJ is nearing 20 yrs since I took delivery new and shows significant trail carnage from that, whereas it still has fairly low 93K total mileage accrued. The JK Rubi only has 2750 and the F150 "More Practical Raptor" less than 12K since bought brand new. Hey, I only have time to drive them that much in my small town...
