Looks awesome. Did you modify the letters yourself? I want to get this grille so bad, but idk how to go about modding the letters

It does suck. It was nice having a vehicle that hadn't been dinged or dented yet.
It's really just the bumper which had starting chipping and that's gonna be replaced along with the plastic above it. So I'm kind of okay with it. Of course there's also the deductible...
I'm thinking I'm going to 3M it this time. I had a ridiculous amount of chips in just a year and half.

I have it on mine and it extends up on the hood a little bit. Can't really notice it unless you're looking for it. Only time it's really obvious is when there's lots of pollen - kind of collects at the seam, making it noticeable. I don't care though as long as it protects it, pollen can be washed away but chips and scratches can't! Also one less area to wax, so it's a nice shortcut there too lol.

Looks good, it would look better if you painted the inside upper corners where you can see the front edge of the hood through the grille.

I used a hand hack saw and cut the letters... used the spare plastic from the F to fill in voids and used two part plastic epoxy to glue together... sanded with 220 and used epoxy as body filler... I went with the linex for the look and to add strength

I've had mine done for a little while now. I used a dupli spray from autozone that was a very close match.

Question for those who have modified the letters to say ford. Did you put anything for support behind the "f" on the bottom horizontal line? Is kinda just there with no support and every time I wash the car I baby that "f".

I used a piece of ABS plastic about 4 inches long that I epoxied to the back... with that and the Line-x there is still a little flex... I was going to bend a piece of aluminum and bolt it to the back mounting surface for added peace of mind
