Default 2015 Silverado

My 2014 XL is in the shop for some brake work and I got a 2015 Silverado LT as a rental for the day. I must say it looks great, but it is not enjoyable to drive. Super light gas pedal (I prefer the gas pedal to have a little resistance), bumpy/stiff ride, and the seats are very uncomfortable. I think it has the F150 beat in looks, but that's about it. Just thought I'd throw that out there. Very disappointed with the Silverado. I used to have a Suburban and figured the Silverado would have the same super-comfortable ride and amazing seats (I truly loved my Suburban). This thing is just no fun to drive.

i think the silverados look very dated and uninspired. The GMCs look really nice, though.

my boss has a 2015 silverado, LTZ, fully loaded with leather. beautiful truck. except the stock wheels and those damn square wheel arches. Thankfully he tossed on a set of black w/ brushed aluminum wheels.... much nicer..... now if only he could hit a few big bumps and get the tires to actually make then "arches" lol

I agree. The wife has an 07 Tahoe, hands down the most comfortable seats I have ever been in. My brother's work truck is an 06 3500 and those seats are like sitting in a cloud too.

I've also heard the new models don't have comfortable seats but I've never been in one yet. I'm not gonna lie, I think they actually are very good looking trucks, both the GMC and Chevy. Plus, their new 6.2 will put mine to shame in the power department. I enjoy and plan on keeping my F150 but I wouldn't rule out a Silverado sometime in the future.

That 5.3 has become like the 5.4 was due ford. Way too long in the tooth. Now their 6.2 is nice but only comes with the top trims.

The Tech stinks too

It's the same Ól same Ól. I have a 2000 Tahoe with 5.3 as a 3rd ride hunt truck etc that we kept after getting the F150. 209k on the dial and still runs great, but see no difference really FF to 2016.

The Brand loyal folks would argue mt points I'm sure
