Do you think Ford will finally backlight the 4WD switch?
Where is the heated steering wheel switch?
My iPhone better sync right, Ford.
Anyway, as with the '09-to '13 (14?), the interior looks too busy again. Switches all too close together, and worse, on different plains—violating good industrial design for the sake of looking different.
Is Ford using the Rover design team? They make the same errors and use that cheap-looking, made to scratch buffed silver metal finish stuff, that is piled into the Platinum editions.

Ford sells more higher end trim F-150s than base models. Allot of the market is passenger hauling duties, daily commuting, and the odd trip to Home Depot. Most F-150 drivers myself included, do not wear work gloves in a new truck.

It sucks to see the round vents going away. They work a whole lot better than the rectangle design. They look better too!

I agree the round chrome plated look nice and work really well. Especially being able to rotate the air flow in a few directions. The rectangle look is so 1970's. The real meat potatoes of the 2015 is gonna be in there powerplant and structural frame. Reshaping and relocating various ***** and bells/whistles don't make the truck.

Ford sell more trucks to people that do work with their truck than any other manufacturer. Being a work truck and a base model are not synonymous. I rarely see an XL work trucks around were I work because they usually don't have the options the owners want. The XL is usually driven by a kid who bought his first truck and could only afford the cheapest one.

From what little I see I don't like it. Guesses I'll have to see the whole setup on e they release it.

Beer Gut Extraordinaire
Or like the Mustang vents.

Overall looks like Ford is is going head to head with Ram on material quality though. The center stack materials definitely look greatly improved over my '13, FX4.

This is a very nit-picky item, but I can't believe they are using that smooth leather skin on the steering wheel .vs the textured one on my 2013.
Thank goodness they are finally going to keyless entry/ start. I love that feature in my wife's car, and hate I have to use a key to start my truck that cost $33k more than her car did.
Was also really hoping the +\- select shift buttons would move from the console shift position, as they are in an un-naturally placed location on the '09-'14 trucks. Would have like to have seen the migration to flappy paddles behind the steering wheel by now. That would be extremely awesome for a truck.
Whenever I use the current setup, I have to take my eyes off the road, look down and remember which is +\-, very frustrating.
With paddles they are in your line of sight while driving, and just naturally placed where its convient.
