I'm just not seeing much tundra resemblance really. the proportions of the grill - maybe, but it's still pretty distinct.
far as lowering the sides & deck height, is actually a good change for a good number of people. I'm over 6' tall & have trouble reaching into the back from the sides or over the gate when it's up. that's a complaint I heard on the 2nd Gen tundra from a buddy's Dad. So long as the ground clearance is the same or better than current gen, I don't understand the griping.
now, the tin can references - are just showing your ignorance... tin & aluminum are two different metals, so go read a periodic table for once There's a pretty long list of things that have AL bodies & had them for decades.
I'm glad the rumor about losing or partly losing the boxed frame didn't happen. can't wait for the comparos to come out vs. the Chevy & Ram.
Will be interesting to see the Titan refresh but I will say I think that 5.0 TD is a mistake unless it's in a 3/4 ton chassis.

From all the cars that have them? It was only a matter of time until they used it on tailgates.
Personally, the front end is a bit Tundraish but I'm sure it'll grow on me. It's not really the design itself, more-so just the shape of it. The mirrors also look a bit odd to me. I really like all the new stuff they added such as the option of power steps on lower trims, LED lights for headlights, tail lights, bed lights and my favorite, the side spot lights. Interior looks nicely done, even if they did take away the round vents that I like so much. Looks to be too much chrome on some of the front ends but I'm sure that can be fixed easy enough. Can't wait to go test drive one and decide whether I stay in this generation or hop to the next for my next pickup.

Obviously the design will have some resemblance to others trucks. It's pretty much impossible to come up with a %100 original design. People will always find a way to compare it to another vehicle no matter how small the detail is. You guys complain too much.

Having a '13, It will likely be '17 before I jump in. I don't have to have a '15. While this may not be what a lot wanted/expected, I find it hard to believe an F150 fan would not find this truck appealing. It can't be bad enough to push one to the dark side.
I will, however, reserve final judgement until I see one in person. Right now, I'm on the side.

Just no.....not to mention the interior. Did we go back in time?
