I remember when the 09 spy shots were out. Everyone hated it and once revealed, everyone hated it even more. Now all those people that hated the 09 probably own 09+ trucks. Let's just see what the production version is going to look like before criticizing? For god's sake..

I would love to see a diesel. But an I-5 doesn't make any sense to me. Would an I-5 get any better mileage than a V6 TD?

The transit is only rated at 147hp the ranger is 197. Both have 347tq those numbers could easily be tweaked to 250-275hp and 400-450tq. The global ranger is supposed get almost 30mpg.

The only I've head anything about it the 4.4 in the range 340 and 516tq but its a v8. Their is a 3l v6 253 and 442tq also. I can see ford putting on of those in a 150.

You have to remember that the Euro diesels don't have half of the MPG killing emissions crap US diesels have to have. That is why you don't have a diesel option in the Focus for the US but you can get a diesel in one in Europe.

To the OP. Do you also realize that the euro gallon is 20% larger then the us? Giving over inflated mpg numbers.

Plus from my research and from what people have said in the uk especially the slightly older disiel rangers are guzzling clunkers and they would much rather have a f150 and they wish fork uk would bring them in!

I'm personally looking forward to the diesel ram and titan.
