Plus from my research and from what people have said in the uk especially the slightly older disiel rangers are guzzling clunkers and they would much rather have a f150 and they wish fork uk would bring them in!

I'm personally looking forward to the diesel ram and titan.
I understand that, but my point is that emissions standards are much higher in the US on diesels than they are over in Europe. As a result of having more emissions, urea and DPF (diesel particulate filter) your MPG goes to crap by having to have that. I traded in a Duramax for my current truck and all my emissions fell of that truck one day, no cat, blocked off the EGR and did a PCV reroute and I gained over 2 mpg better this all the while running that ultra lower sulfur diesel crap fuel that killed my MPG and ate my injectors up. Just by blocking off the EGR my oil after eight thousand miles was almost as clean as the day I put it in. Our Duramaxes at work have jet black oil in about one thousand miles after a change. Go surf some of the diesel pages and see the intake tubes of some high mileage engines. They are full of this black tar like stuff as a result of having an EGR and PCV going into the intake. My point is our Government is killing the diesel.

What kind of diesel is the half ton dodge truck getting?

Oh my goodness, its a ford truck under a blanket! the secret is out..Still looks like a ford truck. The kicker is, it will be a shell of itself. 700-750lbs lighter than previous models. Where do you think there gonna carve that weight from..My 2013 sheet metal is already paper thin, shut the door and watch your door panel ripple like an ocean wave. Who cares what the outside looks like if the guts have been stripped and thinned to make it like the old foreign trucks of the 70's. No thanks, looks like my next truck will be a 3/4 ton something!

Rim picture is like an 01 rim. I'm anxious to see under the camo.

I'm not too worried about safety as it is the 21st century. But the thin sheet metal is a little irritating in a truck. IMO I say the most weight will be dropped through the bed and aluminum skin with keeping the steel structure.
