Question 2014 XLT SCREW 4x4 with Max Tow and 157WB questions

Hi. I have the above on order (also with off road package, 3.5L Ecoboost, 3.73, 7700# GVWR, 302A package) and was hoping some of you could share some facts and opinions.
Fact request - if you have the same setup, what are the weights from your door sticker (front and rear axle limits and curb weight).
Opinion requests -
1) I have not been able to drive a max tow package because there are none on the local lots. I have been told it is no different from the regular and that it only changes once I go to HD payload.
2) I have no idea what I am going to tow yet (i.e. plans are a boat next year but have not id exact model yet and may eventually go with a travel trailer) so I am getting what I perceive to be the most capable 150 without giving up ride comfort and with the hopes that this truck will last for the rest of my needs. Any regrets out there on this setup? Any thoughts on whether my logic is right or wrong?
Thanks for any assistance.

I don't have the weights on the door but I know the truck weights 5750. I have to run commercial plates in NY. I love mine, have 29000 miles on it with zero problems! The truck will tow just about anything. As for fuel mileage I have gotten 20.3 on the highway as my best, around 18.5 for most trips in the hilly northeast. The biggest thing I've towed is a 2002 Mustang GT on a open trailer and got 13.9 mpg towing through the Catskills of NY. I didn't even know it was there! You will love it!

Here are my stickers...I have a xlt screw max tow 157wb Eco 4x4 with the same package as you but no off road package...I also have the spray in bed liner and tailgate step. The ride will be slightly stiffer but you would only notice if you drive back to back with a non max tow. Even if you got the hd payload package you would still be limited by the tongue weight rating of the hitch...hd payload is only good for when you want to tow a TT and put a quad in the bed or tow a smaller 5th wheel. Also... The hd payload is noticeably stiffer but I rode in one across Michigan and it's not bad. It just feels more planted.

I have hd payload and Max tow. I honestly don't notice anything and people comment on how smooth it rides.

This is interesting....I have a 2012 XLT 4x4 screw 5.0, 7350# gvw, not a max tow. My payload sticker shows 1625#, I would have thought max tow would have carried a more significant payload difference. I'm sure your towing capacity is much higher though....I tow a TT that weighs in at 7700#-8000# loaded.

My understanding (maybe wrong) is that HD Payload allows more combined weight carried inside cab and bed box whereas MaxTow increases towable limit? HD Payload isn't available in my ordered config but not an issue for me (even though I'd love those axles), since my cargo weight will be limited to gear carried under an ARE topper. Wanted MaxTow for Powerscope mirrors plus related package features.

BTW, my S-Cab door stickers show:
Max combined weight: 1742 lbs
Front GAWR: 4050 lbs
Rear GAWR: 4050 lbs

Figured the lighter S-Cab would have greater cargo carrying margin...

Looks like a great set up to me. Wish I would have looked for a truck with the 3.73 gears. I've got the 5.0 with 3.55....

Weird why the 5.0 has a 7350 GVWR and the EB has a 7200 GVWR

Maybe my trucks slightly lighter but I don't need commercial plates and I'm in westchester county.

I have a EB Max Tow, roughly the same configuration with small differences in trim and package options including a 157" WB.

Unable to find curb weight on either of the door stickers.
GVWR 7700#
Front GAWR 4050#
Rear GAWR 4050#
Payload 1507#

I drove three non-MaxTow trucks before ordering mine. I like you didn't have an opportunity to test drive a Max Tow equipped truck before ordering.

The ride difference to me is imperceptible. I'm unable to quantify an difference in ride.

My only question of my decision is the rear gear ratio, which I believe you only get one choice with the max tow package 3:73.

My truck is likely in the lower 15 percentile of EB owners. Averaging around 15.5 mpg in mixed driving.

I had my last truck for 12 years and like you wanted to buy a considerable amount of capability so that I have enough truck when called upon.
