Where is the factory Trailer Wiring Harness Stored. I know salesman pointed it out but I am drawing a blank.
I know I saw it somewhere, any help appreciated.

I've seen them stuffed in one of the door pockets before, or if you have that centre folding console, look in the lower storage area. If it's not there, they owe ya one.

Wouldn't the wiring on the trailer just plug into your truck?

Think they mean the pigtail for aftermarket TBC?
If you don't have tow package and you're looking for the 4 pin trailer plug it should be tucked up into bumper. There is harness connection on bottom of bed right behind spare it comes off of that.

i'm going to get a picture of the harness thing. I had a harness for my 97 and 98 in a box that was in the center console. This is a bit smaller but in a ford parts bag.

Aftermarket Brake Controller Harness
The Parts shown were in the Plastic Bag shown. It was in my 2014 STX Glove Box. The TBC Harness this plugs into is on the back of the Cubby you remove if a person were installing a Ford OEM TBC.
I had a nice Tekonsha TBC used in a prior Vehicle. After reading up on this Forum, I opted to order from eBay and install the Ford TBC. ~$148-; cheaper than what the Dealer told me he could get it for. I had the Dealer agree in writing to 'flash' it @ n/c. Works great!
One Pundit here said there is not a Trailer Wiring Harness run to the back Bumper if there's not a Factory Tow Option already installed on the Truck. I can't speak for the accuracy of his observation because my Truck had the Factory Tow Option. Just an FYI...
I scanned and stored here in an Album all the supporting Ford Documentation, including their Schematics. However, it's not sufficient resolution to read easily. I've got to scan it again. Then, I hope to get around to a full write-up to answer the questions that keep arising.
