Default 2014 silverado

So I had to have my bumper replaced cause some guy hit me trying to park his f250 and I got a 2014 silverado rental and its only an lt but the seats are very uncomfortable. Im 6'5 and its tight in there. The suspension is horendous I have 2 speed bumps where I live and with my ford I couldnt even tell I went over them but in the siverado I almost hit my head on the roof. The breaks r bad aswell. All in all the next 3 days r gonna suck caint wait for my ford. Had the vent a bit thnx.

I liked the Sierra when I drove it. It was just too expensive, too underpowered and I'm apprehensive about first year potential problems.

Traded my 2011 silverado on my 13 fx4. My chevy was a good truck just too underpowered mostly due to the gears they come with stock. The seats weren't that bad to me, but the ride compared to my f150 was much worse. The new sierras don't look bad to me, but the front ends of the chevy are hideous. I did not even consider another Chevrolet when I traded and unless something serious goes wrong with my f150 I will not be going back to gm. My fx4 is by far my favorite truck I've ever owned

I've looked at the 2014 GM trucks (have not driven one). Personally, I think the Silverado is hideous. The Sierra not so much. It appears they have made significant strides in the new trucks, but IMHO only brought them up to the level of the new Ram and existing F150. They certainly did not surpass either. Definitely not in capability. They seem to be having significant supplier issues and first year gremlins. I too tend to stay away from first year production, especially the first vehicles off the line.

I expect the '15 F150 to leap frog handily past the competition in a number of areas. I'll be disappointed if it does not.

My biggest problem with the Silverado (other than it being a Chebby) is the wheel well openings. Talk about putting a round peg in a square hole. After that the list grows.
