2014 - left side appears to sit lower
The other day as I was walking up to my pickup I noticed the left side from the rear looked like it was sitting lower. I had heard a "weird" clunk earlier in the day while driving I remembered.
Its a 2014 crew cab shortbox 4x4 offroad package. Its a company fleet truck.
So this morning I parked on some (what I think is) level concrete and measured to the wheel well and the left side is sitting 3/4" lower than the right side?
Thoughts?

Hard part would be measuring on a 30x10 level surface since most places in the world are not level. You can measure from the bed gap to the cab. Just measure from the frame to the top of the bed in that gap. It should be same measurement there. So many things can effect wheel well height. At least here you can see if your cab is different or the bed. I can come up with other crazy ways too. Like some string from the axel to the top of the bed of the truck on both sides. It should measure the same or within 1/8 or 1/4". You just gotta find a good reference point since there is so much that can cause issues from anything other than a point on the vehicle. Tire pressure, suspension etc..
It would drive me nutz so i would check suspension flex by trying to push your truck over on each side see if it feels the same tighness maybe just the left side is more worn and isnt holding the truck up as strong as the right side. My wife always yells at me when im pushing and kicking vehicles. If i can break it with my weak strength than its not safe to drive is the way i look at it.
Sometimes a heavy driver will wear on the side as well. Driver / Passenger weight is what im talking about.
Hope that helps some...

It's actually pretty common, go to the dealership and look at the trucks from behind. Mine dose the same thing so that's what I did, low and behold more than a couple were the same way. One thing to keep in mind is the gas tank is on that side also.
I've seen some trucks where the drivers side was 2+/- inches lower.

i have the same problem. i actually started a thread on it somewhere in here. i never thought to measure the height with the gas tank empty. i usually keep mine 1/2 tank or more. maybe i should start keeping it at 1/4 tank.
my solution was to purchase air bag assist suspension and run a little more PSI on the driver side.
