2014 F150 XL radio
My friend just purchased a new left over 2014 F150 XL single cab. Nice truck, but came with an AM/FM radio only, no CD player, and he misses playing his CD's.
I have my stock AM/FM/single CD player from my 2007 F150. Will this radio work in his 2014 XL?
Before I remove the left/right vent panels to expose and remove the radio bezel screws to expose the radio mounting, I wanted to be sure the 2007 radio will have the same radio wiring connectors as the 2014 "bare bones" radio.

These radios are very easy to remove. I dont see why not. It should go right in place and plug up with no problem.

I recently purchased a 2014 F150 XL standard cab with only an AM/FM radio. It has an aftermarket Viper (at least i have a fob that locks and unlocks the doors), and a aftermarket device that integrates control of a trailer's brakes.
Are the wiring diagrams available for this vehicle? There is no documentation for the aftermarket devices, I want to use the original wiring to attempt to understand what has already been modified... ultimately adding a new radio/head unit
