Going 100 mph isn't the lmit, but there are mechanical limits within the vehicle from going over 100 mph. I don't know the limitations on the ford trucks, but the driveshaft rpms, gear speed (how fast they can actually spin) in rear end, tires, etc should be verified on how fast you can actually go without causing damage.
Also I should add I chase tornadoes with a friend. sometimes we go over 100mph to get to, or get away from tornadoes. I was hoping we could use my truck instead of his car, but I guess I wont be doing that in my truck.

My miles to empty says I can go 350 more miles right now...so I can clearly go 350 more miles without running out of gas.....
or....
My truck says I can pull 10,000lbs so I can clearly do that safely with a 1100 lb payload...
Ford never puts bigger numbers than actually achievable on their products....
All I am saying is it would be in your best interest to make sure and not just assume.....

I agree with the principle. I put a mild tune in my 30th Anniversary Trans Am and removed the stock speed limiter (I believe is 163) even though the fastest I have driven it is 155. That was years ago though before Florida has been decimated by unchecked growth so with our over crowded roads it would be a death wish now. ITs my weekend toy now and pretty much pleasure cruise it with some spirited acceleration rowing the gears.

I am sure it is beyond 100mph and I would guess most would be fine up to 140 if not more. But this isn't a sports car and was not designed to go that fast. FYI I did use the sct x4 to set mine to 125 which is the max it will allow before the no limit option.

I believe the STR's on my Tremor are H rated 130mph

I would never suggest towing/hauling more than the max GCVWR
I would never suggest that you can drive 400 miles when your truck says you cannot drive more than 350 miles
I would never suggest driving faster than 120 mph in an uncontrolled environment if your truck says you cant go faster than 120 mph.
