2014 F-150 noisy 5.0

Sounds normal to me. The DOHC 32 valve Coyote is not as quiet as the pushrod engines from GM or Ram. They have one camshaft and 16 valves and the camshaft and push rods are deep in the engine. The Coyote has 32 valves and 4 camshafts and it's all right below the valve covers. Also, Ford doesn't use any sound deadening engine cover on the Coyote.

I understand its a 32v and has plastic valve covers. The noise is only on the passenger side head. To me the ticking is way louder than it should be. Also cant tell in this video but it is usually random. Injector tick would or should be consistent. I will try and take a better video.

Why would injector tick be consistent?
What kind of oil? Have you checked the level? You did say it's getting louder.
What kind of gas? Shoving premium in won't affect it for long, the computer will adapt. Modern vehicle.
BTW, sounds pretty normal to me.

I've never had a fuel injected engine that the fuel injectors weren't consistent sounding. Never had one just randomly get louder and quieter. Matter of fact I've never had one that you could hear them in besides a light clicking. I assume it has 5w-20 motorcraft in it from the ford dealership. I'm still on the first oil change. It has a motorcraft filter and the right amount of oil in it.

Change the oil and filter and see if it changes the engine noise. Motocraft is good oil.
If you think you have an issue have the dealership look at it. Worst case scenario ia you pay a diagnostic fee and they find nothing.
