Default 2014 and coilovers (bar pin solutions)

Has anyone heard when shock companies are going to have a solution to the change in the lca mounts for the shocks?

I havent messed with the shocks that are on the truck so I dont know if it would work but one option might be to have the bar pin in the oem shocks pressed out and then put into the new shock.

Another could be to find a bar pin currently made that is the correct dimentions for the f150 mount.

Also you could have some bar pin eliminators fabbed up to bolt into the factory location and then use the current shocks that are out there, only problem with this is you are raising the current bolt spot and causing more lift and im assuming it would change the angle of the coilover a little.

I really want to start gathering the parts for a coilover setup but currently other than uca's, it seems like anyone with a 2014 f150 is SOL.

either wait for coilover companies to catch up, get '13 LCA's or just use a spacer as a your method of lift IMO. I would assume '14 LCA's are similar to the upcoming '15 model year, otherwise why change it for just one year.

I know the struts and lower control arms have changed from 2013 to 2014, but have the coils changed or did they stay the same?

hey abraham, if you are near your truck and have the means could you give distance measurement from the center of the bolt holes for the strut mount? Ill see if I can find some universal bar pins that fit.

I would do it but I am out of town.
