2014 with a bulge in the dash.

2014 with a bulge in the dash.
Just noticed the other day that one section of my dash has a rise in it as it goes horizontally along the windshield.
It's strictly a visual thing but looks like the brace that part screws to is a bit too high.
In the pic I have the screw out but it doesn't change the rise.
Is yours like this? 6 of 10 on the dealer lot had it to some degree. I'm trying to think of how to lower that point but drawing a blank.

Not sure if I have the exact issue but the trim piece on the drivers side has never sit right since I bought my truck. It keeps popping up. They replaced the trim but it still isn't right. I noticed the dash doesn't seem to be sitting even all the way across. So it sounds like the same issue but I just haven't bothered complaining to the dealer about it....but I should

Man, I'm sure I'm going to get beat up on this but I just have to give my 2 cents on this. It's a Ford truck..... My wife's Mercedes is an expensive luxury car and everything is just perfect because it's a Mercedes. We have a Ford truck and their attention to detail on how level the dash sits isn't on their priorities. Sorry, but that's just how it is. Ford trucks are tough... really tough...meant to take a beating by ranchers and construction workers and yet provide some luxuries while they work their butts off. If something just doesn't sit right by 1/8th of an inch, they can deal with that. Again, I don't want to sound mean or indifferent, but we have Ford trucks that are focused on the working man/woman who needs a reliable work horse.

Pretty much. I use to work on/toy with a Lexus that my buddy had back 20 years ago. Think it was a Lexus, he had a Mercedes and a few others way out of my price range at the time, anyway, that was 20 years ago and back then they had better fitting and fancier trim pieces (trim fasteners, clips Etc, all Quality, easy to use and very reuseable) than what our trucks do today. I'm not complaining though. I think his cars cost more back then than I gave for my lariet.

Exactly, but the issue really resolves around people that have never had a real luxury vehicle and pay out the butt for a truck that has faults. You really can't blame them for being very very picky about everything because this vehicle costs so much. Unfortunately, today's technology for 4x4's for real hard workers cost money. If it was a generic 4x4 that never went off road then we could see a dramatic reduction in cost. However, we have the greatest 4x4 for "workers" and it's meant to get beat up. Cosmetics will get messed up anyway if you use it as it's intended to be used. Look, everyone loves a nice looking truck, but we own a work horse that looks great. If something's not quite right with cosmetics and you can't swap the part out, deal with it. We have the greatest work horse and greatest truck in the world.

I haven't check mine yet since it is dark outside. If it didn't change from screw in and out, i don't know if you can fix that unless you replace the dash.
My driver side bumper has way bigger gap than a passenger side. I just deal with it and try not look at it. Man it bothers me everytime when i look at it tho haha.

No doubt it can get frustrating having something that's not quite right. No doubt at all. But, we have a work horse and that's where the focus is. We have the greatest work beast in the USA. Better than Chevy and Dodge (minus the diesel), so we have to understand there will be imperfections in the luxury class when the focus is getting the horses around or loading the construction materials. Not making excuses mind you, just an avid FORD fan.
