Thanks y'all. New pump, idlers, belts, T-connector, and coolant. Flipped a coin and also replaced the thermostat. Coolant level is holding with no visible drips and no more squeal. Hoping not to go back in there for a long time.

Yes sir.
Mine blew up real bad while driving my wife to the airport for her fathers funeral. What a day.
We found out UBER will pick you up on the side of a 12 lane highway.

Rolling down I70, heading back to KC from a quick Colorado trip, this happened... 2014 XLT, 5.0, 2WD, 158,xxx mileage High range hearing loss, so I had no warning... Ended up having the towing company take it back to my house, insurance only would cover to nearest repair facility, figured the money I saved installing myself would more than offset... Had to go with Napa parts beings all dealerships were closed and I needed it back ASAP..

Water pump, 2x tensioners, 2x belts, 1x idler pully, thermostat, + towing over miles ~$600

Be certain you have the correct bolts removed on bottom side of pump, the "other" bolts, right below the water pump bolts, look the same and when you get them out are the exact same... Whacked the pump a few times with a small hammer thinking it was frozen to block, luckily I didn't get to crazy... compared new pump to where the bolt came out and felt up under bottom side and could feel the correct bolts, can't see them from the top side...
