Get a good tune, it will make a world of difference. Local dyno tune if they know what they are doing or solid place like MPT who has done lots of setups like yours.

yeah im in an area where there is only one dyno in town and they dont even do SCT tunes. ill have to look around Denver i think. i will get a full exhaust then and try to find a decent place to get a dyno tune. and way ahead of you with trying to go back to the stock tune if something goes wrong haha. ill try as hard as i can to get ford or roush to cover expenses.

I have a 2013 5.0 with the roush package 570 hp and yea the roush tuning is very conservative until your 36k miles are up I wouldn't touch it but the owner of lirette ford where I got mine certified roush dealer told me about a guy in north louisiana that tunes them and get it to around 630 at the crank i thought it was a monster when we first got it but after driving it daily it feels normal until I get in my friends regular fx2 and realize how much more power I have

I plan on doing headers and a off-road y pipe without cats to open up the exhaust end I feel like it's a choke point forcing all that air in and trying to get it out those stock manifolds

You do know that Ford contracts people to read these forums... You're going to have to try harder now.

How in the world are they going to know who he is unless he just starts spilling his entire life story and telling where he goes and his name and all that stuff? It's not like he is going to go into a random dealership around the country and they be like oh that's that guy zosofan1785 from that forum online I know he has been messing with that truck.

so you feel you are getting use to all that power? did you ever go see that guy in north lousiana? i wonder how long the engine would be able to put up with that amount of power... im looking at headers also. i think that will get me a little more power out of it. any particular brand you're looking at? i found some ARH 1 7/8 inch headers for around $1,600.

No I live in south louisiana. Yea the only headers I could find are like 1500. I thought about just beating the cats out to get more flow for now I have no worries down here. Supposedly the trans can handle like 650 safely from what I was told the engine I'm not sure but I'm always one to push my luck lol it's my wife's truck so I'm not to worried about the tuning until the warranty runs out

I can get his info next time I stop in the dealer. My dealer is pretty cool about mods on gas and diesels the owner loves his roush trucks and mustangs in fact this was his truck for 5k miles and they took 14k off the price so we got the roush package for free basically we paid about the same as we were for a 2014 fx2

You must not work in the IT department. Your online profile goes way beyond your f150 forum handle... It would take a little more than 4 hours for a trained cyber security professional to give you his VIN number.
