Question 2014 5.0 Oil ?

I got a 2014 F150 FX4 a few months ago and was wondering about the oil. The cap says 5W20. Do i use regular or synthetic oil ? I dont know anything about synthetic oil, my '07 f150, it just took straight 5w20, non synthetic .
Thanks

Did you read your manual? Full synthetic for 5.0. No manual? It's online.

There are plenty of threads on this topic to waste years of a life on. With that said, I've always used Motorcraft synthetic blend in the recommend weight and Motorcraft filter. I too went from an 07 5.4 to a 14 5.0.

Wrong. The manual recommends syn-blend.

I use Pennzoil yellow bottle, which meets the Ford spec in the manual. Great oil. I go the full oil change interval (10,000 miles) and have done this for the past 60K miles. No issues at all:5.0, 2011 model.

Motocraft is a great oil. 39.95 oil change and tire rotation at your local ford dealership is hard to beat.

Not the same price at all dealers. My dealer is higher than that.
