2014 5.0 Oil ?

How about the $73.00 oil change. I will not be doing that again.
You see I went to the local garage in small town (population 675) to get the oil change figuring it might be $10 more just trying help out. Nope almost twice as much sorry local economics cannot afford it and no tire rotation.

I'm glad the OP asked the question as I am in the same situation. Are you planning on running it until the "oil life indicator" comes on? My truck is lease back with 32K miles on it that I bought last week. (sorry, not trying to hijack the thread).

With a full synthetic you can run 7500 to 10k. What I would do is run 5k miles and have a blackstone analysis ran on your oil. That will tell you what is going on inside the motor. If all is good, bump it up to 7500 for the next change.
