Question 2013FX SCrew: WeatherTech DigitalFit FloorLiner

I ordered a full set (front and back) of the WeatherTech DigitalFit FloorLiners for my 2013 F150 FX4 SCrew, based on glowing recommendations on this site. I was somewhat thrown by the rear floor matt when they arrived. There is somewhat of a guide for cutting out the part of the matt for those with a subwoofer installed as part of the Sony system. However, I would have to use some type of cutting instrument to do so, and do not feel that I would end of with nearly as clean an edge as I have now.

Any thoughts / recommendations on what type of tool to use and how to insure that the resulting new edge looks like it is factory, rather than looking like it was cut with a chain saw?

I simply used a pair of house scissors to cut the hole. The material isn't that tough, and if you're slow and careful it'll look pretty smooth.

Good luck!

Utility knife and straight edge cuts like butter. Pretty hard to mess up if you stay along the edge. You won't see it since it is under the seat....trust me.

Thumbs up

OK, looks either a utility knife or a heavy duty pair of scissors should do the job. Thanks guys.

I used a pocket knife. Followed the line. It was done in about 6-7 seconds.
