Have you ever seen HIDs (non PnP) in person? I can assure you, without knowing the person who posted that, that video is real.

I drove a loaner Taurus with projectors and halogens. It had a good cutoff line. What I noticed right away was that I could not read any of the street name signs because the cutoff line works too well.
There's not enough light from the halogens to reflect off other surfaces and you feel like you only have a tunnel of light and that outside the tunnel you cant see anything.

Maybe that is what the OP is experiencing?

That is a very true statement if your cut-off lights up street signs your HID lights are aimed to high. The OP issue was with poor output from stock OEM halogen lighting. Projected HIDs or a good lightbar for remote locations should solve his problems.

Read this chart on Sylvania Halogens.
https://www.sylvania.com/en-us/appli...partnumber=H13
Note that any of the lamps with more lumens have a severely shortened life.
Like 325hrs vs 1500hrs.
I bought 2 pair of Rigid Duallys 2 spots an d2 floods. Installed the spots behind the grill and the floods either side of the license plate. Wired them to the high beams. It works great for me and does not blind oncoming traffic.

Dear Mind-numbingly Frozen in Minnesota;

Allow me to Paypal you some funds to allow you to thaw out.

Seriously, pardner - here is an entire Compendium of fake images for you to gloat over:

And here is how & why they produce all of those fake beam patterns - using fake optical engineering:

Of course, none of this should be believed, as I am a fake member posting on this fake website

Good luck to you, sir - the only person I have met here who has been astute enough to have seen through all of the nefarious subterfuge! Good job!

Cheers

Hi.

Am I looking at the same chart as you are?

The MSCP and Lm numbers are the same for all of those bulbs across the board. Only the rated life is different.

The only real difference apart from that is the kelvin ratings - the three on the left will give the perception of being brighter, when in fact they really are not.

Or is that a fake chart? Sneeky bastiges are everywhere

Jerry;

I use LED fogs by bilinvic to get around the street sign issue. See my video above.

I've only ever had one driver in a Mini Cooper flash me in an urban setting. I flashed him right back and he drove off the road into a hedge
