A few hundred pounds lighter is anticipated, not 1500. That much weight loss is highly unlikely.

This article says planned 750 lb weight reduction in.

http://www.leftlanenews.com/2015-for...-aluminum.html

This one says 500-700.

I'm bummed. I swear I read one article that said upward of 1500.

I've decided to wait unless I run across a deal on a 2014 Raptor. I can relate to the OP I just don't want to basically duplicate what I already have. I like the Platinum and the 2013's look virtually the same. I like the Limited exterior but don't care for the red seats and I sure won't like the blue seats in the 2014. The next one I buy will most likely end up being my last truck purchase.

A 2014 Raptor if you order can be had for $50 over invoice. I ordered one a couple weeks ago.
