My 2013 has the blocks that beep as you get closer already...got my letter in the mail about downloading it, so apparently mine is out of date. The site says to load the new card if you have nav, but no new card was supplied. I assume those with NAV had no issue with the update and didn't have to load a new card in it? I have an A4 card right now.

I do love that the you can now touch anywhere in the zones while on the homepage instead of right where it says the name of the zone.
My '13 Platinum has the red blocks that increase horizontally from left to right as you get closer to an object. Been that way since I bought it a few weeks ago.

Haven't updated the software. Don't think I'm going to.

I have NAV and had no issues with the update. My 2013 had the blocks as well but I had to enable that option.

So far I haven't noticed a huge difference, but maybe a little more responsive.

It's a good update, but I'm wondering how people with no "tech skills" will fare with it. I'm thinking about the many people who don't know how to copy/paste or send an email, now they have to download a zip file, unpack it, lose the index file, copy the needed files to a suitable flash drive, and then install the update.

I would imagine that dealers will be getting a lot of requests to perform this update.

Fodase when you say more responsive do you mean the NAV updates quicker or are all devices (phone, radio, satellite) quicker?

The phone connects quicker, and the devices seem to load quicker. Not a lot though - maybe it's my wishful thinking.

I haven't programmed anything into the Nav, but I'll have to try that.

Mine didnt say anything about losing the index file, just said to copy all the files in the unzipped folder that popped up, so that is what I did. Had three files, with one being the folder containing all the files.

You don't have to do all that to do the newest update. If you put the thumb drive in the computer and point the SyncMyRide site to that drive, it does all that for you. You don't have to worry about a zip or index, etc. The site will do all that for you as long as you point it to download straight to a FAT32 formatted thumb drive.

Mine updated just fine, but it won't send the file to Ford to update the version. They file wasn't where it showed, and the file I do have doesn't want to upload right. I guess I will have to call.

I think when I did my vehicle health report, it automatically told ford that I did the update. After I did that, it wouldn't let me report a successful sync update and it said that I now had the latest version.

The thing I like most about the update is that Sirius now shows artist/song title while on the home screen. I believe that my backup camera is also a bit less glitchy and the touchscreen is a bit more responsive.

I did mine two days ago. It did seem that the nav loaded and found the routes faster the past couple days?
