Eye Surgeon. My ipod touch did the same thing when playing over bluetooth! Sometimes one song played fine then the next would skip around or pause! I had to use the apple usb cord to remedy it! sound quality is better and no more skipping! But now I have to see the silly cable, but at least my ipod is always charged up! . Tried using my samsung S3 and it played flawlessly over bluetooth, but the highs had distortion, so for now using the apple cable plugged into my ipod! Let me know of your progress!

Lol, I just checked my ipod touch settings, and noticed I had the shake to shuffle set to ON! I turned that off and now it plays through Bluetooth Flawlessly! Good luck...

Mine started doing this last night. It was working fine the other day. It only plays song for about 30 sec and skip to next song...My shake to shuffle is off.

Mine has worked great until I downloaded the most recent update..

I find if I plug the phone in with something like a podcast is playing, I can switch to blutooth and get it to work. (Otherwise you are limited by USB1 to what is in your actual Music app, not podcasts or audiobooks.)

I suggest you tap into USB 2 and buy a small USB stick to load music on to.

I only have MFT and have had it skip songs when using Spotify. Apparently, it's a known issue on the MFT forum. Otherwise, sound was fine. I'd grab an extra cable and leave it in the truck, you'll drain the battery on your iPhone fast with BT A2DP.

Mine does this intermittently. Usually I just dismiss it and change to something else but next time I'll play around with it and see if I can find out what's causing this.

Could you provide me a link for the MFT forum?

I didn't know there were audio quality limitations to bluetooth, at least when compared to USB connection. Interesting.

I had that happen to me the other day, now that you mention it. I don't know what caused it, as it wasn't happening before.

Then I left the truck at an airport parking garage for a week, got home last night, and it played fine all the way home.

It's these kind of, sometimes this, sometimes that, things that bug me about this system. Don't get me wrong, I think MFT is pretty darn cool, and the interface is better designed than most I've seen. But sporadic stuff drives this engineer crazy.
