I ordered a AOEM-FRD24 harness for my 2013 f150 it has the small screen in the dash non nav / and not the sony. It will not work the plug for the back of the radio is different. I don't know what trim of truck you have but it will not work for me I tried. I have a 2013 xlt 4x4.

Yes there is the LCD display at the top thats model 1, the 4.2 Sync non touch model 2, and the NAv with touch model 3. STX I believe has the top LCD which is the same as 11 and 12 models.

Has anybody heard of the Kicker Soundgate system? Supposedly it's all plug and play. Comes with an amp/sound processor and a subwoofer. It completely re-tunes the EQ of the stock speakers and sounds pretty damn good. I saw it on YouTube

Yes check the stereo/audio section, you can order the whole setup from your Ford dealer for around 999.99! It includes a a 4-channel amp/DSP for the stock speakers that mounts under the steering column, and a 10" 200 w sub, that installs where the Sony sub mounts....

Have u actually heard it or know anybody that has? If so, does it sound better than the Sony system? It sounded good in the video I watched but I'm skeptical on using the stock speakers

Ive only heard the sub, and it kills the stock Sony 8"! Im skeptical as well on the stock speakers being used myself! Op have posted the setup came with replacement Kenwood 6x8's, and it does not!

I'm wondering if it would be cheaper to add aftermarket speakers, a sub, and amp. I don't wanna change out the head unit this time around. $999 sounds pretty steep for an amp and sub. I do like the fact that its a factory system though, so ford can't void warranty if something goes wrong with the electrical system
