Default 2013 SCREW Intermittent Highway Vibration

So i've searched all the vibration threads that I can find and don't see much mention of my condition. At highway speed i'm getting an intermittent vibration that comes and goes. It's weird as I've never owned a vehicle that has acted like this. I Stopped by Belle tire and had them road force balance and it's still the same. By intermittent I mean there are moments when it's completely smooth and then this vibration settles back in. Has anyone dealt with something like this here? The truck is new to me and has 18K miles and the factory 20" wheels with Pirelli tires. From what i've read so far it seems like the Pirellis are a good place to start. I hesitate only because I'm thinking that if it really was the tires wouldn't the vibration be present at all times? Thanks for any help here.

Any vibration sets up what is called harmonics. Multiples of the original vibration frequency. These can come and go and be stronger than the original.

Raisin, so in your opinion can it be tires?

I had a similar issue and it was the tires; garbage SRA's and poor balancing as I had the white letters flipped in on delivery.

Bought BFG's that were balanced by a knowledgeable shop. No highway vibration since.

Same circumstances, but again these were the 18" GoodYear SRA's.

My guess would be the tires. If mine I would swap front for rear to see if there is a change. Both front to the rear etc. Funny acting tire might not be a problem on solid rear axle.

I had what I was calling a vibration but it really was/is more of a stumble in my Scab/5.0. 98% fixed with new plugs (probably could have just regapped originals) and a couple tanks of Techron. The techron made a big difference, as I did that separate from when I changed plugs.

FWIW my symptoms were a stumble or shudder on take off as well as the stumble while cruising on the highway (or really at any constant speed in OD). Dealer scanned the truck and showed no trouble codes but Mode $06 data revealed frequent misfires on #8 with random misfires on the rest. I have not taken it back after doing the plugs and whatnot, but looking at mode$06 data with my OBDwiz/elmscan doesn't show an appreciable amount of misfires.

Just wanted to provide an update. Dealer had it in for diagnosis. Replaced front right tire after road force balance. Smooth as silk at all speeds. No more vibration.
