Still need to do the wiring.
Fairlead bolt. RC on left.
Took longer than expected.
Printed instructions and even the Rc video don’t explain some things.
Remove air dam first.
Behind the two tow hook bolts on each side. I reused this like many on this site instead of the third bolt provided by rough country. I think you could drill the air dam and use their bolt instead. I figured the tow hook bolts would handle this considering the weak link would be the four Badland winch mounting bolts that came with the winch.
Remove rear bolts on tow hooks before doing the front bolts.
I recommend tossing the fairlead bolts supplied by RC or at least use bigger and better washers. The bolts provided by Badland were much more robust but 1/4+ too short due to the added thickness of the RC fairlead plate.
I installed using the RC bolts but will hit the hardware store for longer thicker ones.
No plastic trimming.

Thinking about this one. But looks like someone could easily pull my custom plates.

So I got a hinged plate mount that flips up when you need to use the winch.

Yes the snap rings that hold the rollers in hold the bracket on.

I recommend the one RNL installed and not the one I did.
Very difficult install. Had to remove one wave washer from the fairlead pin in order to get the C clip to go back on.
and it hits the bumper when you flip it up.
Looks good though and I like that the plate is mounted to metal.
