Oh and if the dealer still says it won't work, show them this video clip.

That is the 100 remote start in action on a 2013 F-150

Yep, if it's hot outside the a/c engages, cold outside the heater kicks on.

The ambient air temp sensor provides the system the info.

Are the trucks already equipped with hood switches or does it come with the kit? If it comes in the kit, is it easy to install?

Is the AATS that little opening in front of the ignition, always wondered what the hell that little opening to the right below the gauges was!

Most come equipped with it mine has one and doesn't have the Remote Start Yet! They don't come w/the remote start kits! They're like $19 from the dealer, simple just bolt on and plug-in I believe!

Mine already has the switch, open the hood and look on the driver side (left) fender you will see it mounted there.

Ambient (outside) air temp sensor is mounted behind the grill, usually to a radiator support. I haven't looked to see where exactly on this body style but previous styles have always been there.

Not sure what your talking about on the dash.

Thanks guys for all the help. The instructions provided by Rnlcomp really helped. After many calls to the dealership and being told even if its plug and play it would take some time to get it working I got them to do it for a little short of 200 dollars. Whatever I decide to do to my truck next this forum will be my first stop.
