Default 2013 oem HID lights adjustment after level kit

Does anyone know if the 2013 oem HID lights are self-leveling? I have an appointment next Saturday to have a 2" AS level kit installed and am curious if I'll need to manually adjust the HID lights downward after installation, or if they're self-leveling as some HIDs are.

You have to manually adjust them.

They are non-leveling and yes you will need to re-adjust post-level.

ADJUSTING THE HEADLAMPS
The headlamps on your vehicle are properly aimed at the assembly plant.
If your vehicle has been in an accident, the alignment of your headlamps
should be checked by your authorized dealer.
Vertical Aim Adjustment
1. Park the vehicle directly in front of a wall or screen on a level surface,
approximately 25 feet (7.6 meters) away.
• (A) 8 feet (2.4 meters)
• (B) Center height of lamp to
ground
• (C) 25 feet (7.6 meters)
• (D) Horizontal reference line
2. Measure the height from the center of your headlamp (indicated by a
3.0 millimeter circle on the lens) to the ground and mark an 8 foot
(2.4 meter) horizontal reference line on the vertical wall or screen at this
height (a piece of masking tape works well).
3. Turn on the low beam headlamps to illuminate the wall or screen and
open the hood. Cover one of the headlamps so no light hits the wall.
For Vehicles With HID Headlamps:
There is a distinct cut-off (change
from light to dark) in the left
portion of the beam pattern. The
top edge of this cut-off should be
positioned 2 inches (5 centimeters)
below the horizontal reference line.
4. Locate the vertical adjuster on
each headlamp. Use a #2 Phillips
screwdriver to turn the adjuster
either counterclockwise or
clockwise in order to adjust the
vertical aim of the headlamp.
5. Repeat Steps 3–4 for the other
headlamp.
6. Close the hood and turn off the
lamps.
HORIZONTAL AIM IS NOT REQUIRED FOR THIS VEHICLE

OK. I have a question that I'm hoping someone can answer. The headlights I bought were used and the old owner had a 2" leveling kit. Does anyone know how many turns it took to level the headlights with a 2" leveling kit? I'm thinking I can go backwards and not have to go through the steps. Thanks.

It's not a matter of how many turns, it's a matter of the correct drop in beam over a certain distance.

Find a straight wall, park the truck about 24' away and adjust. At that distance your lower cutoff line should be roughly 2" lower than the center of your headlight. So measure the from the middle of the projector (there's a little crosshair circle on the lens) to the ground. Subtract by 2 and use that for your cutoff on the wall. It's pretty simple.
I did the driver's side first, then matched the cutoffs on the passenger side.

Makes total sense. I'll do it when I get off work. I was over thinking it.
