2013 my ford touch navigation is horrible
Anybody else experience there navigation being quite terrible? I took a trip to newyourk yesterday and I knew the route but wanted to see how the gps was in the truck. Crap.... That's what it is. The whole time on the turnpike and 95 it kept thinking I was on side roads and what not and kept re calculating telling me to get on the interstate even though I was already on there for miles and miles

Boost :)
Mine is flawless on my 13 and my wife has a 13 Explorer with the same system and it works flawless on hers too. We drove from Austin to Vegas and back right after we bought it and used the nav for that entire trip. Neither of us have had any issues with either of our vehicles in any regard.
Maybe trying and resetting the whole system? I know there have been a few mentioning vehicles having the same issues you had and there was a fix or at least a temporary one and I think that is what it is.

Hmm I'll have to look into that thanks for the input. Could it be my map card? The dealer forgot to put it in so I had to go back for it and they installed it before I even tried to navigate

Known issue, many are having this problem. Ford does not have a fix that anyone is aware of. Several threads on this.
Short answer: assuming your software is up to date: only thing that has fixed this has been to disconnect your negative battery terminal for about 1 hour and reconnect. This seems to reset the system. Mine has been fine for well over a month now. I have only heard of 1 instance that is has come back after doing this.

If you want to take to your dealership, please do, I did and many others have. None of them were fixed there.
