2013 mustang
#21
Was going to trade my 2011 F150 for a 2012 Mustang GT 5.0 when the 2013s came in. Didn't act soon enough and both dealers near me have sold every 2012 GT on the lot. Could expand my search, but my F150 is a year old this month and only has 2,300 miles on it. I'll probably just wait another year and put some miles on the truck.

wait. what?
well screw it, I guess this is now a "your old Mustang" thread
this was my very first car, '99 V6 5-speed
then a year later I got this Sonic Blue '04 GT premium. full bolt-ons weren't nearly fast enough (2V junk) so I put an ebay turbo kit on and ran until it blew. which ended up being 6 days.
2 years later I bought this '05 GT from a friend with cams and full bolt ons, didn't keep it long because it was so loud it gave me a headache every time I drove it and the cams made it absolutely horrible on gas
and then back when I was like 12-13 my dad bought this using money from my savings account so we could fix it up together. it was a barn find '66 289 auto with a Holley 4-barrel, 78k original miles, pretty bad paint but a 100% solid rust-free body and a fairly clean interior. then it sat for 5 years and before a single wrench ever got turned on it, the ***** sold it and pocketed the money for himself.

Well I might as well keep this going with posting my 2007 Mustang GT with bolt ons. This has been my 4th Mustang and will not be the last. First one was a black 1994 v6 auto, I was only 17 then bought a black 1996 GT with manual trans, then black 2003 GT (Centennial Edition) with manual trans and now my 07 with manual trans. It sure is fun to take it out for joy rides.

Nice mustangs everybody! Now seeing everyones mustangs.... Maybe my wifes car will go (2006 Nissan altima) she can drive my truck (2010 f150 tux black supercrew) and I'll get the mustang. We have to keep something practical seeing that i have a 4 year old and a baby boy on the way, due in February..... I tell you what my daughter LOVES the mustang even if she is cramped in the back, my sons room it's going to be all mustangs and old school f series trucks.... What can i say we are a Ford family.....

My 2013 Deep Impact Blue GT 5.0
It has every option you could put on a GT, plus I have added Roush wheels & exhaust. It is my favorite thing I have ever driven, and I have driven alot of cool cars. But I really do like have my F-150 as well, I just feel a whole lot safer while in the truck.

This is what I traded for my current truck:
For this:
The 5.0 in the Mustang is a beast. I loved driving that car. But with the family growing and now living in the north again the Mustang doesn't fit the bill. Will have another one someday when it can be a pure pleasure car.

The interior quality isn't as bad as older GM cars. It's actually pretty solid with no squeaks or rattles at all. As for visibility, yeah, it's like looking out gun slots in a tank, but after you get used to it, you don't even notice anymore. I love driving it.
