Default 2013 Locking lug nuts

So I just bought new BF Goodrich All Terrains for my truck and I figured I should protect my investment. I have been in the market for black lug nuts anyway but I would also like ones that lock. Looking for any suggestions!! I have the black OEM 20" rims. Heard that there is issues with Gorillas fitting on this particular rim.

McGard makes a black locking lug set just not sure what sizes they make.

just FYI the ones you posted are not right. it must be the M14 x 2.0, NOT 1.5.

While wheel locks are never a guarantee, they may keep honest people honest or at least slow someone down if they want your wheels. I got both spline lock ahe McGard all the way around just to change it up.

I have heard of people doing the mix match. Thinking about doing that myself. Has anyone noticed the black lugs showing scratches or the black wearing off?

McGard makes the ford wheel locks just half the price. I would recommend them it's what I have but mine are not black.

ha... just did the black lug nut thing today!

put black gorillas on new Raptor rims & they fit like a glove. you can slam these things with an impact gun and no marks... MAVERICK712 is right, you will need size 14x2.00

I have the McGard 14x2 black lug nuts I got from amazon, do not like them. They are too long on the Black appearance package rims in my opinion. They stick out about 1/2 inch longer than the rim. Trying to find shorter ones. They are 2 inches long, would prefer something 1.5 inches long...

Regarding locking lug nuts (all brands) ...
  1. if they (being them) want the wheels bad enough, they're gone. *easy to circumvent.
    .
  2. they're a PITA to remove. *due to the nuts being either small diameter, stretched-out/rounded keys, cumbersome keys, etc., etc., etc..
    .
  3. key(es) go missing. *now you're resorted to the borrower's method used in #1 above -AND- buying replacements.
    .
  4. they're a PITA.
    .
  5. they're only effective against the honest people.
    .
  6. they're a PITA.
    .
    etc., etc., etc..
But HEY! If it eases your worries, PWRA.

*25+ years of experience speaking.
