The Ford website has the power fold mirrors mirrors listed a optional on a lariat. Here is the link I used from my phone. The mirrors are in the appearance category.

But I do have power fold mirrors on my Lariat.

Good luck with whatever you find out, weird you would have the switch but it doesn't do anything.

I have a 2013 Lariat with 501a package, and have the power fold regular mirrors. I see you have Max Tow package, but not the tow mirrors. I know they do some different packaging in Canada for the mirrors so that could be your issue.
I used the the etis link from post #9 above, and entered my VIN on the Vehicles tab. Under the long list of Minor Features, mine shows:
Drivers Power Fld/Htd W/Puddle Lamp
Passenger Pwr Fld/Htd W/Puddle Lamp

I have the 2013 Lariat with power folding mirrors. The truck has the luxury package on it...502A or something.

Could there be a difference between Canada and US spec lariats? I know in Canada you can get the 502a package with a column shift, and you can't in the US.

Looked it up on Etis and this is what I came away with

• With Driver Electric/Heated Mirror
• With Pass Convex Elec/Heated Mirror

Guess I don't have power folds after all despite having the dummy **** on the door.
