Yeah, that's the only problem if you're looking for a good deal on a 2012. I got $12,500 off my truck but didn't have any choice on color/options. Luckily the FX2 is nicely equipped.

In N.C. we're at $2000 customer cash, $1000 XLT cash, $1000 FMC cash, and $500 for the 5.0L. Set to change 01/02/13. And if you can get $750 private cash coupon your good to go. Right now I'm at $3500 rebates, w/ the $750 coupon, and $200 rebate from my Ford Owner account for a total of $4450 on my Platinum if it comes in this month.

Correctamundo. I sometimes wonder what the guy that orders trucks is thinking. Some very strange option orders that no one is interested in buying. ex. they order a Lariat 4x4 with every option except the plus package that has the reverse sensons, rear cameras, and power folding mirrors. Go figure.

BTW, that Lariat was a 2011 that sat on the lot nearly the entire 2012 season.

Check out Evergreen Ford or Ford of Kirkland. They have some great deals.

In Oregon, all they are offering is $1500 rebate, $0 on echo boost, $0 on FMC financing...about half of everywhere else...go figure

exactly. I've seen trucks without foglights. I don't understand why a dealer would order a truck with the fogs for $200.

I don't understand Ford's formula of incentives, and rebates for the different areas of the country. Of course if they told me, I'm sure it would still not make sense.

Default Incentives, unless you pay cash

For the first time in my life I can actually pay cash for a $40k vehicle. I have been negotiating with a couple dealers on a 2013 Lariat with Eco and they just won't budge off that $1,500 cash back from Ford with FMC financing.
Looks like I'll wait until either about 6pm New Year's Eve and take in a cashier's check and see what they do or just wait until January when they haven't seen a new customer in a week and the new incentives are out.
2012 or 2013 Lariat with Eco....

No one would do it, but I bet if someone walked in a general managers office and laid 40k in $100 bills on his desk he wouldn't say no. LoL.
