Default USB cord got wet and doesn't work 09 F150

Well I found my iPhone cord coming from the main USB port in a cup of water. I took it out and let it dry and it doesn't work at all. I switched cords a few times and still doesn't work. Does anybody have any ideas about how to fix the USB port. It's an 09 F150 lariat with the screen in dash.

im not sure why the USB port would be bad. but if it is (try another device too if you have one) you would have to get it replaced (warranty if you don't tell em about the water, lol).

what he said - try a different cord, different device. Methinks you may have blown a fuse. USB is, among other things, a charging device.

Thanks HoustonRider. Do you think it could have blown the fuse. It was plugged in while the other end was in water.

I have tried new cords and a few different devices. The USB is not registering any activity. Could it be the fuse and if so where is it located.

I have no idea, I don't put my **** in water. Lol.

I wouldn't think there is a separate fuse for the USB, but if there is the manual will tell you.
