Plenty of room as long as you have the air bag partially out. There is a small piece of dash that comes out, front right near the wind shield, where I fed it thru.

Sorry guys, I have two little boys, only time I get is when they go to bed at night, and assuming I am not paying attention to the wifey.

I ran my gps cord straight up and out underneath the pad on the dash right beside the light sensor.

I ran the hands free mic and routed it out the front side of the dash pad.

Bolted dash panel back in place right on top of the wires but not super tight.

Been that way for several thousand miles.

Thanks, what about the microphone, were you able to use the stock SYNC microphone?

No need to appologize, most of us understand that there actually was a third option too:

3. Melbri actually has a life.

I know this one! Apparantly there's a mic on the front of the unit that's supposed to be better than the stock one.

Pretty sure everybody knows that, just didn't want to play the role of captain obvious. Now that you filled the position we can all move on.

Thanks for option #3, forgot about that one.

I put the supplied microphone inside the driver side HVAC. I'm not sure where the SYNC mic is located, maybe it is part of the unit itself.

There are two locations on the front, just below to the left and right of the LCD that could be a mic, but they did supply a mic that connects to the back of the unit.

Yeah, when I was contacting the guy at radioupgrade.com he was telling me that there is a mic on the font of the unit, but he said they also supply an external mic if you wanna use that
