NFAB "Adjust Step" Tubular Rails
Here's a few shots of the NFAB "Adjust Step" tubular rails going on my FX4.
The rails come with four adjustable steps that bolt into drilled plates on the backside of the rails.
I chose these because I like the "high and tight" positioning of the rails (for when we do go off road) and because the steps are adjustable/removable.
The finish is also a textured black that almost perfectly matches the textured black Ford mudflaps and other plastic on the exterior of the truck.
The steps can be adjusted into three different positions....and there is also a plate for an additional step positioned at the front of the bed.
I'll post some more pics a bit later with the steps in all various positions.

NFAB "Adjust Step": Steps Installed
Here are a few pix of the FX4 with the NFAB "Adjust Steps" steps installed.
As mentioned before, the rails are tucked in "high and tight" and offer three places for the adjustable steps to mount: front door, rear door and bed.
There are also three different positions for the height of the steps. I installed mine at the highest position.
The kit comes with four steps. You can order two additional steps if you want to add steps at the front of the bed. I test fit one of the steps in the bed position so you could see what the truck looks like with three steps.
Mounting the rails and the steps was pretty straightforward. I used the stock bolts and clips from my original rails instead of the ones supplied by NFAB. Having a friend help hold up the rails in place made it much easier.
The steps are coated with a textured material. The coating adds thickness, so I used a drill to remove the coating in the bolt holes on the steps and on the step brackets to help slide the allen head bolts through more easily.

Some Super Crew trucks do come with the rear door sill protectors. Mine did. I started a thread on it back in 2011. Ford could not come up with a part number for me to give the forum, but I checked on several other Screws on the lot back then and 3 out of five trucks had them. Nobody could ever figure out a pattern or narrow down the reason.

Mr. DamnDirtyApe: If you meant.....
...."How close do the tires come to the front bumper and front mudflap when the wheels are turned?"......here's your answer:
1. Wheels straight ahead
2. Wheels turned to the right (front bumper clearance)
3. Wheels turned to the left (front mudflap clearance)
