Default Blend door actuator question

Hey all, I have a 2014 xlt with single zone ac/heat, do I have multiple blend door actuators? From what I've seen online, only the models that have dual zone have two actuators but I got the dash popping sound last week and replaced the one behind the radio and the popping is still happening. I read about doing a calibration for the gears but the actuator had a "nipple" on it so it would only mesh one way. Any info is appreciated.

You have 3 actuators where dual zone has 4. That's the only difference.

That doesn't make sense. What do you mean by one way? All components in your truck generally only attach in one way. The calibration comes after installation.

Probably doesn't matter, you need to figure out what isn't working. All 3 doors do different things.

I also have 2014 with manual hvac. My unit keeps putting our air, depending on what the setting was prior to turning it off. It also seems to put out more air as my speed increases. If I have 3 actuator doors, which one could be still open?

Does it stop when you push the recirc button?

I don't think the recirc can be turned on when the HVAC is off. But it is obviously the inlet door that allows air in from outside. I am not sure if it is supposed to be open or closed when HVAC is off.
