Could a leaking rear window be the culprit of my rockers rusting through from the inside out?

89K on my 2012 FX4 by the way...besides having the rockers replaced and a set of brakes...I've had no issues with the truck.
Mine was just the switch. Rear window itself works perfectly

Understood. I don't have the rear sliding window, mine's solid.

If you have the sliding window, the connector for the defrost goes bad, and that's the issue I'm having. Apparently the only fix is an entirely new window, which sounds crazy to me.
