I am already trying to get my hands on a '13 grille asap... I think it looks pretty darn good, and I have some paint ideas to go with the appearance package

Is it just "plain" black plastic? the 2013 FX grille? I see the appearance pkg gets it painted black, usually they were Shadow Grey, I saw a 2013 F150 XL base model up close and it was just the new C-Clamp style grill molded in just black plastic. Is that the same as the FX2/FX4 grille? If so they will be a dime a dozen if they are the same as the XL model. (The insert that is)

I think they are just plain black plastic. Seems like they're doing the same thing they did with the 09-10 FX and XL. They both had the black plastic 3 bar grille

Anyone ever have any luck finding a '13 insert and installing it? I would like to put the '13 insert on my '10 FX4. The painted black, not just the black plastic. Or maybe have the 3 bar painted gloss black?
