I am thinking that when the 2013 FX4 grille comes to Tasca or Ford dealers I will put it on my truck.

Would I need just the grille? I wouldn't need new surround or anything right?

No. Probably just the grille insert. The surround looks like the same size as the older models

u can find it on google images. 2012 is the 6 bar grille and 2013 has the super duty c-clamp style grille

Really? You can change the insert without changing the surround? I’ve thought about replacing the fat three-bar grille I have on my 2009 with the 6-bar. And I’ve not seen the inserts for sale by themselves.

Yes, u can change just the insert. They sell the 6 bar grille for the XLT chrome package and the lariat grille, but I have yet to come across the 6 bar FX grille on any website. U can try and look for on in the trades & sales section or u can ask ur dealer. I'm sure they would be able to order one, probably won't be cheap though.

A buddy of mine works at Parts departments at Ford so I get parts at 10% over cost on all parts. I see most grilles from Ford sell for about $350-400 MRSP.
