Default 2010, add keypad entry question

Hi gang, I would like to add a keypad entry to my xlt 2010 crewcab. I found this part on e-bay... My questions are :

1 - is there a plug already in my door ready for the plug in the e-bay ad part or not?

2 - If yes, after install, do I need to go to dealer to get it "programmed"? (Will ask seller if I get a positive answer to question 1).

http://pages.ebay.com/motors/link/?n...d=261011446688 Link optained from my android cell on e-bay app...

Item # 261011446688

Thanks for your time.

That is just the door handle cover. It does not include the key pad or any wiring. You can buy the one from Ford that stocks to the side of your truck. That is what I have and it works just fine

the stick on ones from ford are wireless like your truck key. So no harness or real work required. Just programming.

OK,
As far as I know this will not work. I did the same thing and bought a door handle with keypad and installed it. I then brought it to the dealer, and they were unable to find where to enable it in programming software. My keypad lights up, so I know that it has power, but there does not seem to be any way to enable it that I know of.

I prefer the look of the door handle one as opposed to the stick on one. But it looks like I will have to get the stick on one if i actually want it to work.

Thanks guys.
A year ago I saw an aftermarket sticky wireless keyless keypad on ebay (88 $), should get it right away. Seller claimed it worked with my truck. I can't find it anymore... someone can?

Or provide another solution under 125 $?

I have one I bought for my 2011 XLT and sold it a month later I'll sell it to you for 60 plus shipping of 10 since your in Canada. I had it for a month before I sold the truck in Dec. It's new and I have the card and instructions for it.

PM me if you would like it

You can get the wireless stick on keypad for ~$75.00 at your dealer. Maybe less if your parts guy treats you good like mine does.
