Default Funny noise from front end

See if you guys can give me a little help on a noise the front end of my truck is making.

I have a 2014 F150 4x4 with a 4" lift. When I turn my wheel all the way, like pulling into a parking spot, there is a pop or a ting that is coming from the drivers side front end.
At first it almost sounded like a cv joint.
Yesterday I had my truck in 4wd, going very slow, and I could get it to make the noise almost every time I tried. From what I could tell, it's either the front diff, the cv joint or the hub.

Does anyone have any thoughts or has anyone else had this happen?

I'm trying to get an idea on what this might be before bringing it to the dealership.

Thanks for the help!

99.9% of the time with the symptoms you describe is the metal to metal bump stops hitting each other. They're most likely not directly "inline" with one another because of your lift and they kinda catch on each other.

The best cure: put a little dab of grease on each bump stop and you should be good! Most guys will taller leveling kits experience exactly what you're describing.

Try it out & let us know!

Looked at my truck tonight and that looks exactly like what my problem is. I'll grease it tomorrow and let you know if that fixed the problem.

Thanks for the tip!
