Default 2013 F150 alarm problems

This has probably been covered but I searched and could not find this issue discussed so here goes....

Got my truck brand new in May 2014 and it has been great excepts for one issue. The alarm goes off for no apparent reason from time to time.
I hit the lock button twice, get one honk and then about 30 seconds later the alarm goes off. I hit unlock and it stops then I hit lock twice to re-arm and it honks twice then alarm goes of in about 30 seconds again. The only way to keep it from going off at this point is to only hit lock button once, leave truck unlocked or start vehicle then the alarm appears to work correctly for a while.

What can I do to fix this issue? I don't want to take to the dealer because you know darn well it won't do it for them and they will say "that alarm works perfect!!"

When I got my 2010 the alarm was set to automatically arm after shutting the vehicle without hitting anything on the fob. It was really annoying. I looked it up and you can change how it acts by turning the key a certain way and it honks for each setting, well at least for my factory alarm. I'll look for the instructions and post them for you without the guide or instructions you won't know what each honk means so I'll do some digging.

So I found the PDF I used. I have a gen 2 system I'm not sure if you do but if you flip through the PDF it will get into how to change settings hope this helps you. http://ww2.justanswer.com/uploads/jm...42008_base.pdf

Try holding lock and unlock at the same time you may hear the horn honk and it should be ok
