What year? 12? Have you had the PCM reprogrammed for this issue. There is an update for this issue on some models.

Disregard, I see you have a 13, our 13's came with a different/changed programing. They made the high fans come on more because of prior years complaints of poor cooling.

yeah it's a 13. The problem is that the high speed fans stay on almost all the time 90%+ even when ac and defrost. Never did this before.

I've done some research into this and I think the only difference in the newer fan logic is that both cooling fans turn on, I beleive the older models only engage the high speed (drivers side) fan for A/C usage. Regardless, the rest of the system works the same, the newer logic is more noticeable because both fans are WFO when the compressor is running

yeah or the sensor is broke. I agree with your comments and appreciate all the help!

Mine did the same, out of the blue they started running all of the time. Ford replaced a bad relay and the fan assembly, all has been fine since then. Theres another better longer post on this.

Good luck!

I would like to guess that the most common problem is a leak in the A/C system leading to low pressure.

Took my truck into another dealership today. service manager notices the issue right away hearing it and said that's not normal. lets see what they say tomorrow when a tech starts working on it.
